Brief Job Description:
In this business-to-business sales position, you will primarily source and develop new business through the sales of IT Infrastructure Solutions to Multinational Companies operating throughout Asia, which may include the sales of hardware/software, consulting, design and implementation management services for infrastructure installations, network upgrades and on-going network and user support. You will also be assigned existing clients and tasked with expanding and diversifying the business relationship.
To expand the company’s client base and revenues by matching IT infrastructure solutions to client needs.
Sales and Business Development (80%)
- Identify and explore new IT infrastructure sales opportunities.
- Pursue, develop and close key sales opportunities
- Communicate with local/regional/global IT decision makers to position systemsGo as their preferred partner in Hong Kong.
- Meet potential clients through local networking and referrals from other systemsGo offices. Develop relationships and explore possible requirements for IT solutions and outsourcing.
- Network in the foreign Business community through Chambers of Commerce, Business Networking Circles/Associations, etc.
Account Management (15%)
- Liaise with existing clients for contractual issues, including invoicing and renewals.
- Monitor general client satisfaction with services provided.
- Solicit additional business and penetrate existing accounts to increase sales of services and/or hardware and software procurement.
- Assist the delivery team to prepare proposals, submit quotations and process orders.
- Contribute to the development of Market Strategy – services, solutions, target sectors, promotions etc
- Provide market feedback regarding competitive offerings and prospect needs.
- Create targeted sales materials.
- Organize marketing events.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development/sales in Hong Kong or other evidence of achieving results through structured personal effort.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed agreed objectives.
- Must be active and organized, show a strong sense of ownership, commitment, & resourcefulness and be a good team player.
- Basic business knowledge, especially related to investment in technology, including an understanding of Capex/Opex, TCO, ROI, etc.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure in relation to customers’ business is highly desirable, but training can be provided.
- Adept in use of office IT tools, particularly Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel
- Minimum Business Level Spoken and Written English
- Other Local Languages highly desirable, but not essential
